Mavin superstar Rema has generously donated N105 million to Christ Embassy in Edo State during his recent homecoming. The donation took place at the church’s Thanksgiving service on Sunday, held at the Sapele Road campground.
In a video shared on social media, Rema expressed his deep gratitude towards the church, recounting how it supported his family after his father’s passing. The ‘Commando’ hitmaker revealed that the church helped his mother by setting up a shop during a difficult time when they felt isolated.
Rema announced specific allocations of the donation: N40 million towards church infrastructure, N20 million to Rhapsodies of Realities, N25 million for the teen church, and N20 million to assist any widows in need.
“The church embraced me when I lost my dad. We felt alone, but the church stepped in and opened a shop for my mum. I am pledging N40 million to the church’s infrastructure, N20 million to Rhapsodies of Realities, N25 million to the teen church, and N20 million to support any widow,”
