PORTABLE SAYS "I HAVE MORE HIT SONGS THAN BURNA BOY '

Nigerian street-hop star, Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a Portable

Nigerian street-hop star, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, recently sparked online discussions with his bold claim that he has more hit songs than Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy. During a TikTok Live session on Thursday, November 7, 2024, Portable confidently asserted that he has surpassed Burna Boy, whose full name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, in creating popular tracks.

A video now trending on social media captures the “Zazu” singer not only declaring his dominance over Burna Boy but also mentioning that he has more hits than other Nigerian stars, Davido and Wizkid. “I have more hit songs than Burna Boy. I’m not making empty boasts. I have hit songs like ‘Tony Montana.’ Uncle Burna, I have more hits than you,” he said.

Portable, who describes himself as a “Wahala musician,” didn’t stop there. “I didn’t go live on TikTok just to drop a single; I’m a TikToker. My single is bigger than Wizkid’s album. If they don’t promote you, you have to promote yourself. I swear to God who made me. If I featured Drake and he didn’t do a video, I’d call him out, because that’s exactly what he did for Wizkid,” he stated.

Known for his outspoken nature and energetic style, Portable emphasized that his claims are not just talk but are supported by his chart-topping songs that resonate with his fans.
