Netflix reassures its commitment to Nigeria amidst exit rumors.
Speculations suggested that Netflix might be exiting Nigeria due to economic challenges and regulatory issues. However, in a statement shared with TechCabal, Netflix confirmed its commitment to Nigeria.
“We are not exiting Nigeria. We will continue to invest in the country’s stories to delight our members,”
the company stated.
Netflix first entered the Nigerian market in 2016 and has since helped bring local content to a global audience.
