Harmonize has openly criticized Diamond Platnumz, saying he is not at the level to compete in the Grammy Awards. Diamond had applied for nominations in categories like 'Best Music Video' and 'Best Music Performance,' but he was not shortlisted.

Harmonize expressed doubt about Diamond's eligibility for such awards. He said,

"You can’t win a Grammy just by greeting people. I know what it takes to win those awards. It needs exceptional and unique people creating for you."

Although Diamond is popular in Tanzania, Harmonize argued that gaining international recognition is still a challenge for him because it requires genuine talent and dedication. He added,

"They don’t care about who you are; they only listen to music. That’s why I know I’ll be at the Grammy Awards in 2025 or 2026, and I’ll win."

These comments sparked debates on social media. While Diamond hasn’t responded, one fan said,

"Diamond is a role model. He doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone."

The rivalry between the two artists dates back to 2019 when Harmonize left Wasafi Records, a label owned by Diamond. He paid 500 million Tanzanian shillings (around 259 million Rwandan Francs) to exit the contract and since then, their relationship has been marked by public disagreements.
