Famous British rock singer Sir Elton John, 77, recently shared that he has been struggling with blindness. He revealed this on Sunday, December 1, during a charity event in London featuring the musical The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical, a production he helped create.

He said,

“As you may know, I’ve had problems, and now I can’t see. I didn’t see the performers here on stage singing, but I enjoyed hearing them.”

Later, in a TikTok video, Elton John expressed gratitude to his husband, David Furnish, for supporting him during these difficult times.

In September, Elton first disclosed that he had lost vision in one eye but was improving. Recently, on Good Morning America, he shared that his right eye became completely blind in July due to an issue while in Southern France.

Elton John, known for iconic songs like Sacrifice and Nikita, remains one of the most celebrated artists in the world despite his health challenges.
