DJ Brianne and her companions narrowly escaped a serious car accident while traveling from Rusizi District to Kigali, Rwanda’s capital city. The incident took place in Nyamagabe District.

In an interview with IGIHE shortly after the accident, DJ Brianne confirmed that no one was critically injured.

"Thankfully, none of us sustained severe injuries, but we’re heading to the hospital to make sure everything is fine. We’re grateful to God for protecting us,"

she said.

While the passengers escaped with minor injuries, the vehicle they were traveling in was severely damaged. It veered off the road and landed in a ditch, requiring a recovery vehicle to pull it out.

Reports suggest that DJ Brianne, who was behind the wheel at the time, swerved to avoid hitting a road worker. In an effort to steer away, the car lost control and ran off the road.

The accident occurred as DJ Brianne was returning from a weekend event in Rusizi, where she had performed alongside fellow DJ Sonia.
