Afrobeats star David Adeleke, also known as Davido, voted for the first time in a U.S. election and shared his excitement about the experience.
Born in Atlanta, Davido posted a picture of himself after casting his vote, writing,
"First time voter!!"
Earlier, he had encouraged Americans on social media to vote peacefully, saying,
"Election Day y’all be safe as you perform your constitutional rights ❤️."
He did not publicly endorse any candidate.
