Due to his recent remarks regarding former President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerian comedian Lasisi Elenu—real name Nosa Afolabi—has created a stir on social media. The comedian posted a poignant voice message on Instagram, expressing his desire for the former president, especially given Nigeria's current economic difficulties.

"I'm not sending you this message on behalf of anyone,"

Lasisi stated in the tearful recording.

"This is something I feel I owe to my family and myself. I never imagined that I would be expressing how much I miss you. God help me, I'm going to die."

Many Nigerians think the country's economic position has gotten worse since Buhari resigned as president in May 2023.
