President Tinubu celebrates ex-President Buhari's 82nd birthday, praising his leadership, resilience, and contributions to Nigeria’s progress and unity.

President Bola Tinubu paid tribute to former President Muhammadu Buhari on his 82nd birthday, which he marked in Daura.


In his message, Tinubu shared warm wishes on behalf of the Nigerian government and its people. He praised Buhari's dedication to leadership and his contributions to Nigeria's progress.


Tinubu acknowledged Buhari's persistence in contesting presidential elections in 2003, 2007, and 2011 before his victories in 2015 and 2019, calling it an inspiration to never give up.



He also highlighted Buhari’s efforts in building infrastructure and pledged to continue advancing the legacy of the first All Progressives Congress administration.

“On this special day, may you be surrounded by the love of your family and friends and continue to enjoy good health, happiness, and fulfilment in all your endeavours, now and in the future," Tinubu wrote.

The President concluded with warm birthday wishes, thanking Buhari for his service to the nation.
