Audiomack, a popular music streaming platform, has highlighted Rwandan artist Kivumbi King as one of the top 10 African musicians to watch in 2024. This recognition places him alongside other emerging talents from various countries, including Nigeria's Ayo Maff and TML Vibez, Ghana's Olivetheboy and Beeztrap KOTM, and Angola's Chelsea Dinorath, known for her 2024 hit "À Toa." Artists from Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, and eSwatini also feature on this list, showcasing the continent's diverse musical landscape.

Kivumbi King's inclusion is partly due to his successful tracks like "Wait," a collaboration with Ugandan artist Axon, and "Angel & Demon," featuring Kenya's Nviiri the Storyteller. In December 2024, he released his album "Ganza," which includes 12 songs and follows his 2021 album "DID," featuring popular tracks such as "Nakumena Amaso" with Bushali.

This recognition by Audiomack aligns with Rwanda's growing presence in the African music scene. The country's artists are increasingly gaining international attention, contributing to the rich and diverse tapestry of African music celebrated worldwide.
