Yaw Darlington says he is not ready for marriage, explaining that his full focus is on music as he builds his career at age 26.

Ghanaian singer Samuel Yaw Antwi, popularly known as Yaw Darlington, has said he is not ready for marriage, explaining that his full commitment is currently to his music career.

In an interview, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Unsung Artiste of the Year said he believes he is still too young to take on marital responsibilities. The 26-year-old artist noted that this stage of his life requires greater focus and energy toward his creative work.

Yaw Darlington said his demanding schedule and dedication to music would make it difficult to maintain a serious relationship. He added that his priorities could place unfair pressure on a partner who might expect more time and attention.

Describing his relationship with his craft, the singer said music currently occupies the central role in his life, noting that studio commitments take precedence over personal relationships.
