Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji “Wizkid” Balogun has revealed that he wants singer Asake to perform at his future wedding. The comment came during a recent appearance with DJ Tunez on Apple Music Radio, where both artists discussed music and collaborations.

Wizkid said Asake’s breakout track Omo Ope made him an instant fan, adding that Remember remains his personal favourite and the song he hopes to have performed on his wedding day.

He praised Asake as one of Africa’s strongest vocal talents, describing him as “a blessing to African music.”

Wizkid, who is currently in a relationship with his manager Jada P, shares three children with her. The artist has hinted at marriage plans multiple times over the years, although no formal announcement has been made.
