According to a Tribune Online report, Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has spoken openly about what he describes as one of the biggest regrets of his life, revealing that his intense focus on work and financial success led to the end of an important relationship.


In an interview with Jay On Air, Egbuson explained that there were no major conflicts between him and his former partner. He said the relationship suffered mainly because he was often absent and emotionally unavailable, as he prioritised building his career and securing financial stability.


The actor noted that at the time, he believed providing financial support was enough to show commitment, and he expected his partner to understand his demanding schedule. Over time, the lack of emotional presence created distance between them, and the woman eventually moved on and married someone else.


Egbuson said the experience continues to affect him, as he strongly believes she was meant to be his life partner. He added that the situation taught him that money is only one part of a healthy relationship, stressing the importance of emotional availability, communication, and genuine involvement.


The actor also acknowledged that selfishness and poor communication contributed to challenges in some of his past relationships.
