Police arrested a suspect after gunshots were fired near Rihanna’s Los Angeles home. Authorities say the singer was inside but unharmed.

A suspect has been taken into custody following a shooting incident reported outside the Los Angeles home of global music star Rihanna on Sunday afternoon.


According to law enforcement sources, the incident occurred when a female suspect, believed to be around 30 years old, drove close to the property and fired several rounds in the direction of the residence. Authorities responded quickly to the scene and detained the suspect without further incident.


Police confirmed that Rihanna was inside the home at the time of the shooting but was not injured. It remains unclear whether her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, or their children were present during the incident.


Investigators have launched an inquiry to determine the motive behind the shooting. Officials have not yet released further details about the suspect or the circumstances that led to the attack.


Representatives for Rihanna had not issued a public statement at the time this report was filed. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing as they continue to gather evidence and assess the situation.
