Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has revealed that he owns a rice company in Ghana, expanding his business activities beyond the music industry.

The award-winning artiste disclosed that he co-owns a packaged rice brand known as Lilo Rice, which produces and distributes locally grown Ghanaian rice. He made the revelation during an interview with American-based media personality Shirley Ju.

“Of course, I sell rice,” Stonebwoy said, explaining that the venture is one of his lesser-known business interests. He added that the company focuses on packaging and distributing Ghana-produced rice.

The name Lilo is derived from the first two letters of Livingstone, Stonebwoy’s given name, and Louisa, his wife. Although the company has been in operation for some time, the musician has not actively promoted it publicly.

Stonebwoy noted that the rice business has been used in several social responsibility initiatives. In addition to agribusiness, he also runs the Livingstone Foundation, which supports underprivileged communities.

The disclosure highlights Stonebwoy’s continued efforts to diversify his income streams while maintaining his career in music.
