According to the source article, Mexican voice actor Alexis Ortega, best known for voicing Spider-Man in Spanish-language versions of Marvel films, has died at the age of 38.


World Dubbing News confirmed the death on Tuesday in a statement expressing noting condolences to Ortega’s family, friends, and colleagues. The cause of death was not disclosed.


Born in Mexico in 1987, Ortega began his acting career in 2013, working as both a screen actor and voice performer. He later became widely recognized for dubbing Tom Holland’s Spider-Man roles into Spanish, including appearances in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War.


In addition to Marvel projects, Ortega contributed Spanish voice work to several Disney productions, including Big Hero 6 and Star Wars: Rogue One. His on-screen credits included appearances in television series such as Luis Miguel: The Series, El Candidato, The House of Flowers, and Thursday’s Widows.


Following the announcement of his death, fans and colleagues shared tributes across social media, highlighting his performances and the lasting impact of his voice work. Ortega’s final Instagram post, shared in November last year, showed him at his home in Mexico City with his dog.
