According to The Sun Nigeria, American rapper Snoop Dogg and his family are mourning the death of his granddaughter, Codi Dureaux, who passed away at the age of 10 months.

The news was made public by Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, who shared a tribute on Instagram announcing the loss of her child. The post featured a black-and-white image of Cori holding her daughter, accompanied by a caption describing the infant as “the love of my life.”

Codi’s father also paid tribute on social media, expressing grief over the loss while stating that the child was now at peace. He added that he would continue to love and remember his daughter.

Snoop Dogg has not yet issued a public statement regarding his granddaughter’s death.

Cori Broadus had previously spoken openly about health challenges during her pregnancy. In earlier social media posts, she revealed that Codi was born prematurely at 25 weeks, arriving approximately three months early. In a post shared in February 2025, Cori described her daughter’s birth as difficult but referred to the baby as “perfect.”
