Rwandan rapper Shizzo says he does not know Bwiza and Nyambo, despite their past presence at events linked to his wife.

Rwandan rapper Hakizimana Ishimwe, known professionally as Shizzo, has said he does not know singer Bwiza or actress Nyambo, despite their previous association with his wife, journalist Kayitesi Yvonne, known as Tessy.

Shizzo made the remarks during an appearance on The Choice Live, where he was asked why Bwiza and Nyambo were absent from his wedding ceremony. The two women are known to have been close friends of Tessy and were present during her engagement ceremony with Shizzo in Dubai in June 2025.

The rapper and Tessy officially married on January 10, 2026, in a high-profile ceremony held at the Intare Conference Arena in Kigali. The event was attended by figures from the entertainment industry, media, family members, and close friends.

When questioned about the absence of Bwiza and Nyambo, Shizzo stated that he does not know them and insisted he could not explain why they were not present. Even after being shown photographs of the two women, he maintained his position and requested that the discussion move on to other topics.

“I do not know them,” Shizzo said during the interview. “I do not live in Kigali, so how would I know them? It could be artificial intelligence or something else. I truly do not know them.”

His comments have generated debate among followers of the entertainment industry, particularly due to photographic evidence showing Bwiza and Nyambo at Tessy’s engagement ceremony and other past events connected to the couple.

As of now, neither Bwiza nor Nyambo has publicly responded to Shizzo’s statements.
