Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician Samini has shared reflections on his career journey, encouraging young people to remain focused as they pursue their ambitions.

The award-winning artist revealed that he rose to fame at the age of 21 and continues to remain active in the music industry at 44. In a message shared on social media, Samini expressed appreciation to those who supported him throughout his career.

“I became a star at 21 and I’m still thriving at 44 and counting. All I can say is thank you to those who believed,” the musician wrote while addressing young people, particularly those currently in their early twenties.

Samini also advised the youth to carefully manage their time and attention as they grow older, noting that maturity often leads to greater clarity and reflection.

“The more mature you get the quieter you become… Let nothing that adds zero to your value drain part of you because you paid attention,” he stated.

The veteran performer is currently in the United Kingdom, where he is scheduled to perform in Manchester as part of his ongoing musical engagements.
