In a concerning turn of events, AS Roma's match against Udinese was abruptly halted after defender Evan Ndicka collapsed on the field. The incident occurred during the 70th minute of the game, leading to its suspension and eventual cancellation.

Evan Ndicka, the Roma defender, was quickly attended to by medical personnel after he fell to the ground clutching his chest. According to reports from Sky Italia, Ndicka was conscious when he was stretchered off the pitch. The decision to call off the match was made by referee Luca Pairetto, in consultation with both team managers, approximately ten minutes after the incident, with the score tied at 1-1 at that time.

Ndicka was promptly transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
