Rihanna was seen grocery shopping in Los Angeles when a shopper mistook her cart for theirs. The moment later went viral on social media.

Rihanna was spotted on a low-key grocery run in Los Angeles this week, marking a rare public appearance for the singer.

The 37-year-old artist kept a low profile during her visit to a local supermarket, wearing a black turtleneck and matching sweatpants. She styled her hair in a ponytail and wore black sunglasses while shopping in the Whole Foods section.

During the outing on Tuesday, February 10, Rihanna was also seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger.

At one point, an elderly shopper mistakenly took Rihanna’s cart, apparently not recognizing the Grammy-winning singer. The mix-up was quickly resolved, and the two shared a light moment before continuing their shopping.

The brief encounter gained attention on social media, where users commented on the singer’s understated appearance and everyday errand. Some fans noted her choice to shop without security detail, while others joked about her long-awaited return to music, referencing the fact that she has not released a studio album in nearly a decade.

The grocery store visit adds to a series of rare public sightings of the singer, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years.
