Queen Damilola Adeyemi, popularly known as Queen Dami and the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has petitioned Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, over allegations of cyberbullying, blackmail and threats to her life.
The petition, addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, was shared on Queen Dami’s Instagram page on Monday. It followed public claims by Portable that the pair were still romantically involved and had reconciled after previous disputes.
Portable had earlier alleged that despite settling their differences, Queen Dami continued to deny their relationship publicly.
In response, Queen Dami dismissed the claims, stating that she is not in any romantic or sexual relationship with the singer. She described the allegations as false, misleading and damaging to her reputation.
In a statement accompanying the petition, she said the continued circulation of what she described as sexualised and untrue narratives about her personal life was unacceptable and harmful. She also disclosed that legal action had been taken to address the matter.
The petition seeks a police investigation into the alleged conduct, citing concerns for her safety and reputation.
As of the time of filing this report, Portable and his representatives had not issued any public response to the petition.
