Nigerian singer Portable has accused Afrobeats stars Wizkid, Davido, Olamide and Burna Boy of blocking the progress of emerging artists in the music industry.

In a video shared on his social media platforms, the controversial performer claimed that the four artists have dominated the Nigerian music scene for more than a decade, limiting opportunities for new musicians to gain visibility.

Portable further alleged that the artists put pressure on younger performers through frequent displays of wealth. He also accused them of exaggerating the value of their luxury items.

The singer said he would continue to speak out on the issue if he believes conditions within the industry remain unchanged.
