Popular Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has been rushed to hospital following a sudden health emergency that caused her to collapse.

The actress disclosed the incident on her Instagram page, explaining that she woke up unable to feel parts of her body and briefly feared she was lifeless. Despite the symptoms, she reportedly went ahead with work activities at her shop, including inventory checks and staff interviews.

Martins said she later slumped during the process and was immediately taken to hospital, where doctors conducted more than 30 medical tests. According to her, examinations for conditions such as cancer, fibroid, kidney and liver issues, malaria, and typhoid all returned negative results.

She attributed the incident to extreme exhaustion, noting that she had worked continuously throughout December without taking breaks. Medical personnel reportedly advised her to undergo complete bed rest to aid recovery.
