Veteran Nollywood actress Mosunmola Adeleye is preparing to release a new feature film, Orisa Oko, as part of her continued presence in Nigeria’s film industry.

Adeleye, who has remained active in acting and production, described the project as a major creative undertaking alongside her other professional commitments. According to her, the film adopts what she calls a “tri-modern” approach, combining fresh storytelling methods with innovative production techniques aimed at advancing contemporary Nollywood standards.

She expressed optimism that Orisa Oko would contribute to evolving narrative styles within the industry while reinforcing cultural themes through modern filmmaking practices.

The film features a lineup of established actors, including Niyi Johnson, Jumoke George, Mr Latin, Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Owolabi Ajasa, and Adeleye herself. The cast selection has drawn attention among industry observers and film audiences ahead of the release.

Orisa Oko is scheduled to premiere on January 5, 2026, marking another release in Adeleye’s long-running career in Nigerian cinema.
