As the continental football tournament reached its peak, music events formed a major part of the AFCON fan experience. Stonebwoy headlined performances at the OLM Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat, sharing the spotlight with other African stars including Burna Boy, Stormy and Jaylann, drawing large crowds throughout the tournament period.

Garzy served as Stonebwoy’s official personal sound engineer and performance audio director, managing the technical delivery of the artist’s live sets. His responsibility included ensuring vocal clarity, balance and consistency across large outdoor venues designed to host tens of thousands of fans.

The AFCON fan zone concerts were promoted under the theme “The AFCON Last Dance: A Celebration of African Sound,” requiring sound production capable of matching the scale and intensity of Africa’s flagship football event. Garzy was tasked with adapting Stonebwoy’s Afro-dancehall sound to the open-air Moroccan environment while maintaining the artist’s signature sonic identity.

Stonebwoy and Mix Master Garzy have worked together for several years, collaborating on multiple chart-topping releases and international tours. Their long-standing professional relationship contributed to the seamless execution of the AFCON performances.

Beyond live engineering, Garzy is widely regarded as a key figure in contemporary Ghanaian music production. His catalogue includes notable works such as Stonebwoy’s Pull Up, Samini’s Iskoki, as well as collaborations with Becca, Harmonize, Davido and Patoranking.

In 2024, Garzy was named Best Audio Engineer at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, a recognition that further cemented his standing in the industry. His involvement at AFCON 2025 adds to his growing portfolio of large-scale international events.

Industry observers note that Garzy’s work at the tournament highlights the increasing presence of African engineers on major global stages, demonstrating the technical capacity and professionalism driving modern African live music production.
