Michael B. Jordan attended the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night accompanied by his mother, Donna Jordan, marking a family moment at one of Hollywood’s major awards ceremonies.

The actor, 38, was nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in Sinners. The event took place on January 4 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Jordan wore an oxblood double-breasted suit by Louis Vuitton, while his mother appeared in a custom black ensemble, featuring gray braids and curls. The pair walked the red carpet together and were photographed throughout the evening.

During an interview on E! Live from the Red Carpet, Jordan commented briefly on the role his mother plays in his personal life, saying potential partners must earn her approval.

Jordan has largely kept his dating life private in recent years. He was last publicly linked to Lori Harvey, with whom he dated from 2020 to 2022. In past interviews, including one with GQ in 2025, the actor has acknowledged that dating remains challenging amid his career demands and public visibility, while maintaining that marriage is still a long-term goal.

The appearance highlighted Jordan’s continued presence during awards season, following critical recognition for his latest film work.
