Marianne Timmer Alleges Clash With Snoop Dogg Security

Former Olympic speed skater Marianne Timmer has claimed she had a tense encounter with members of Snoop Dogg’s security team during the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina.

According to a report published by Geo News Digital Desk on February 13, 2026 Marianne Timmer says she clashe…, the 51-year-old former athlete attended the men’s 1,000-meter speed skating race on February 12, where rapper Snoop Dogg was also present in support of Team USA.

Speaking to Dutch outlet Sportnieuws, Timmer alleged that one of the rapper’s security guards mistook her for a fan and pushed her against a wall.

“I was standing against a wall, and one of the security guards pushed me even closer. I said, ‘Just act normal,’” Timmer said. She further claimed the guard returned shortly afterward, prompting her to respond, “What?! Do I have to go through that wall or something?”

Timmer, who now works as a media commentator, said she was waiting to speak with Dutch athletes Jennings de Boo, Joep Wennemars and Kjeld Nuis at the time of the incident. De Boo later secured silver in the race, while American skater Jordan Stolz won gold.

She also described security at the event as unusually strict, stating that she witnessed another Dutch spectator being “roughly escorted away” by guards. “I could just picture myself being grabbed by the neck and thrown out,” she said.

Snoop Dogg has attended multiple events since the Games began on February 6. In December 2025, he was named Team USA’s first-ever honorary coach. He has been seen supporting athletes across several disciplines, including snowboarding, skiing and curling.

During an appearance on NBC’s Today show, the rapper described his role as an opportunity to mentor and encourage athletes, saying he aims to “cheer, uplift and maybe drop a little wisdom from the sidelines.”
