Ghanaian-French musician Maddy Maznaz has described her collaboration with American rap icon Snoop Dogg as a defining moment in her music career.

In an interview, the artist said she was contacted by her record label, Bentley Records NYC, and asked to submit a verse for a track featuring Snoop Dogg, which will appear on her upcoming album Say No To Bullies. She said the request initially left her overwhelmed by pressure and excitement.

Maznaz, born Magdalene Narh Combarieu, explained that the collaboration required intense focus and creative discipline. At the time, she had recently relocated to Monrovia, Liberia, following her inclusion on Bentley Records’ Prestige Album, which featured several American artists.

She said the experience pushed her to disconnect from distractions and concentrate fully on delivering a strong performance. According to the singer, the process became one of the most challenging but rewarding moments of her career.

Maznaz also highlighted previous career milestones, including her song Light Of The World being featured on Bentley Records’ Legends Chronicles compilation album alongside international artists.

Addressing her public persona, she noted that being outspoken has strengthened her connection with fans and contributed positively to her artistic growth. She added that authenticity has played a key role in shaping her music and public image.

The musician further stated that success in the music industry depends on discipline, resilience, and strategic decision-making. She also acknowledged social media as an important tool for building her audience and maintaining global connections.
