The 25-year-old artist made her first major appearance since the incident at Spotify’s Best New Artist Party in Los Angeles on January 29. Addressing the audience before her set, Young described the moment as significant, noting it was her first time performing since stepping away from live shows last year.
Young had been performing at the All Things Go music festival in New York City when she suffered an unspecified medical emergency and collapsed mid-set. She was assisted offstage by medical personnel and later informed fans via social media that she was recovering.

She later reconnected with fans in December, thanking them for their support and stating her intention to gradually resume performing.
Her Los Angeles appearance marked a milestone in that return. The Spotify event also featured performances by several other artists, including fellow 2026 Grammy nominees Katseye, Sombr, The Marías, Addison Rae, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Olivia Dean.
