Main Duties
Successful candidates will help prepare letters, reports and confidential documents, receive visitors, manage office records and schedules, locate files and documents, distribute correspondence, help prepare meetings and maintain lists of office requirements.
2. Driver Grade II — 3 Positions
The council is also recruiting three Driver Grade II employees.
This opportunity is particularly relevant to Tanzanians with a Form IV certificate and professional driving qualifications.
Applicants must hold a valid Class E or Class C driving licence and must have used the licence for at least one year without causing an accident.
Candidates must also provide the training certificates that qualified them for the relevant driving-licence category.
A Basic Driving Course from VETA or another institution recognised by the government is required.
The salary scale is TGS B1.
Driver Duties
Successful drivers will be responsible for inspecting vehicles before and after journeys, transporting staff on official assignments, performing minor vehicle maintenance, distributing documents, updating vehicle logbooks and keeping vehicles clean.
