Rwandan singer Kenny Sol has been confirmed as one of the performers for the 2026 edition of the MTN Iwacu Muzika Festival, marking his return to the event after a two-year break.


According to the announcement published on page 2 of the source document Nyuma y’imyaka 2, Kenny Sol yon…, the artist will perform at the festival organized by East African Promoter (EAP) in partnership with MTN Rwanda.


This will be Kenny Sol’s second appearance at the annual music festival. He last performed at the event in 2023, during a period when the festival was expanding its reach across different provinces in Rwanda.


His return follows the earlier announcement of singer Kevin Kade as part of this year’s lineup.

Over the past two years, Kenny Sol has continued to build his profile in Rwanda’s music industry and beyond. He is known for songs such as “Say My Name,” “Umurego,” “Quality” featuring Double Jay, and “One More Time” featuring Harmonize. His EP “Stronger Than Before” further showcased his R&B style and contemporary sound.


MTN Iwacu Muzika Festival is one of Rwanda’s major music events, aimed at bringing together leading artists and fans across the country. Additional performers for the 2026 edition are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
