Ghanaian actor and comedian Richard Kweku Asante, popularly known as Kalybos, has announced the birth of his first child with his wife, Antwiwaa.

The “Boy Abrɛ” star shared the news on Monday, April 27, 2026, a date that also coincided with his birthday, making the occasion even more significant.

According to details from the report, Kalybos revealed the development through a social media post, where he expressed gratitude and joy over the new addition to his family. In the message, he described the child as a blessing and acknowledged his faith.

“+1 Today with another blessing from above already added to my LIFE. Indeed, God did,” he wrote.

An image shared alongside the announcement, seen on page 2 of the report, shows the actor holding a baby carrier next to a balloon with the inscription “Welcome Baby,” highlighting the celebratory mood surrounding the news.

While the actor did not disclose the gender of the child, the announcement quickly gained attention online, drawing congratulatory messages from fans and fellow entertainers.

The milestone comes nearly three years after Kalybos and Antwiwaa held their wedding in November 2023, a ceremony attended by several celebrities.
