Ghanaian rapper Bashir Annan, known professionally as Gambo, has reached a significant international milestone with his first appearance on the BET Network’s reality television series Love & Hip Hop Miami.

The artiste delivered a televised performance of his song Nobody on the programme, which airs on BET and is broadcast to a global audience estimated at more than 50 million viewers. His appearance places him among the few Ghanaian musicians to perform on the long-running American reality show.

Nobody explores themes of emotional struggle and the challenges of finding genuine relationships in a society often shaped by wealth and status. The song’s reflective message resonated with the studio audience and viewers, contributing to positive reactions following the broadcast.

Gambo’s feature on Love & Hip Hop Miami adds to his growing list of international appearances and strengthens his profile beyond Ghana’s music scene. He is a former winner of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Unsung Artiste of the Year, now known as the Telecel Ghana Music Awards Unsung Artiste of the Year, an accolade that helped accelerate his rise in the industry.

The performance highlights the continued presence of Ghanaian music on major global entertainment platforms.
