France Mpundu has traveled to Benin on what she described as a work-related trip, with plans to continue onward to Senegal, according to people close to her.

The media personality departed from Kigali International Airport in Kanombe on the evening of December 12, 2025. While she stated that the journey is for professional purposes, reports circulating online suggest the trip may also coincide with a meeting with her partner, Moctar.

Since December 12, 2025, Moctar, who is from Niger, has shared posts on social media indicating that he is currently in Benin, fueling speculation that the couple may reunite during the visit.

France Mpundu recently appeared on Canal+ reality show The Secret Story, where she finished in fourth place. Moctar emerged as the winner of the competition and publicly presented France with a ring following the show’s conclusion.

Sources say that after Benin, France Mpundu and Moctar are expected to travel to other West African countries. During the trip, France Mpundu is set to focus on music-related projects, including audio and video recordings.

There are also reports that she has secured promotional work involving consumer brands in West Africa, with plans to finalize partnership agreements with several companies during the tour.
