American rapper and singer Doja Cat has revealed that she is considering taking an extended break from music after completing her ongoing “Tour Ma Vie World Tour” in December 2026.

The announcement comes months after the Grammy-winning artist performed in Kigali on March 17, 2026, during her first-ever concert appearance in Africa. The performance at BK Arena generated major attention on social media and drew thousands of fans.

According to the report, Doja Cat said she wants time away from the music industry to focus on her personal life and mental well-being after years of nonstop work.

Speaking during a media interview, the artist explained that she could step away from music for up to three years after her current tour concludes.

“I think I want to take a three-year break,” she said.

Doja Cat also stated that she wants to spend time doing activities outside music, including art and home projects that she has postponed because of her busy career schedule.

The possibility of a long break sparked mixed reactions online, with many fans supporting her decision and encouraging her to prioritize her health and happiness. Others reacted humorously, suggesting she could extend the break even longer or retire completely from music.

Despite the announcement, the singer remains active on her world tour schedule and is expected to perform in Dublin, Ireland, on May 19, 2026, as part of the “Tour Ma Vie World Tour.”

Doja Cat is widely known for hit songs including “Woman,” “Paint The Town Red,” and “Scarlet.”
