Nigerian music star Davido has praised Ghanaian travel YouTuber Wode Maya after the pair met during a recent gathering.

According to Wode Maya, the Afrobeats singer revealed that he had been watching his content for a long time and appreciated his work as a digital creator.

During their interaction, Davido reportedly told the YouTuber that he had followed his videos for years, including content featuring his partner.

“Yeah, man, I’ve been watching your videos for a very long time,” Davido said during the conversation.

Wode Maya later shared details of the meeting online, describing the moment as unforgettable and emotional.

The Ghanaian content creator explained that he spent time with Davido before deciding to record part of their interaction for social media.

“Had a lot of bromance moments with Davido last night, but this one? Yh… I had to pull out the camera for this,” Wode Maya stated.

He added that being recognised by a globally known artist such as Davido was a major personal achievement.

“I think I’ve made it in life,” he wrote.
