My kids chat me on snapchat – D…

Speaking on 4Kidz Paradise on Sunday, D-Black described his relationship with his children as friendly and open, noting that they interact daily through social media platforms.

“My kids are like my friends. It’s interesting how you guys are so different from us in our generation. I talk to them every day, and none of them even messages me on WhatsApp. They’re on my Snapchat, they talk to me on Snapchat,” he said.

He added that he was surprised by how quickly they respond on Snapchat compared to WhatsApp.

“It was very surprising to realise that when I text them on WhatsApp, they would reply the next day, but when I text them on Snapchat, they would reply instantly,” he stated.

The rapper also reflected on how his relationship with his children differs from his own upbringing, especially regarding music preferences.

“Growing up, I didn’t have a common musician with my mum and dad. They would probably like Amakye Dede and I would be talking about Reggie Rockstone,” he explained.

According to him, things are different with his own children, particularly his daughter, as they now share music recommendations and even attend concerts together.

“Now, my daughter tells me the new music that’s out, and I like the songs. I would also tell her the new songs I’ve heard and she would like them too, so we would even go to concerts together. It’s very interesting and fun to be part of their lives,” he added.

For D-Black, modern parenting involves maintaining strong connections with his children, even if that means adapting to their preferred digital platforms.
