Canadian singer Celine Dion has announced plans to return to live performances after years away from the stage due to a serious health condition.
In a video shared on her Instagram page to mark her 58th birthday, Dion confirmed she will perform a series of concerts in Paris, France, scheduled from September 12 to October 14, 2026.
The announcement comes nearly three years after the singer cancelled her world tour following her diagnosis with stiff person syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness and involuntary spasms.
Speaking to fans, Dion expressed appreciation for their support during her recovery and said she has resumed singing and some light dancing.
Dion was diagnosed with the condition in 2022. The disorder is considered incurable and can significantly affect movement and performance.
Her most recent public appearance was at the 66th Grammy Awards in 2024, marking her first major outing since revealing her diagnosis.
The Paris concert series will mark her first scheduled performances since suspending her tour, indicating a gradual return to live entertainment.
