Nigerian streamer and skitmaker Caterefe has shared details about the tragic killing of his father, a police officer, during a robbery incident in Ogun State years ago.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Caterefe said his father had finished work and was heading home when the incident occurred. According to him, his father boarded a police van at a bus stop near their residence after closing from duty.

During the journey, the officers encountered a traffic gridlock caused by an ongoing robbery on the highway. The attackers, dressed in military camouflage, were later identified as armed robbers.

Caterefe explained that his father and his colleagues stepped out of the van to find out what was happening. However, the robbers reportedly opened fire immediately after spotting them in police uniform.

He described the experience as one of the most painful moments of his life, noting that he later saw footage of his father’s lifeless body broadcast publicly.

“I saw my dad’s lifeless body on the ground with police uniform,” he said, adding that the loss shaped his resilience and determination.
