BET announced the nominations for the 2026 edition of the awards, with Cardi B leading the list while Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist followed with five nominations each.

According to the organisers, this year’s nominees reflect achievements across music, television, film, sports, and digital culture, celebrating Black excellence and creative impact.
