Popular Nigerian musician Asake has reconciled with his father, daughter, and baby mama following widespread public criticism over allegations of abandonment.

The reconciliation comes after the singer was called out online earlier in 2025, with claims that he neglected his family after achieving fame and financial success. His baby mama, Adijat, accused him of abandoning her and their child despite her support during his early struggles.

In March 2025, Asake’s father, Fatai Odunsi, a stroke survivor, also publicly accused the artist of neglecting him. The allegations triggered strong reactions from social media users and several public figures.

Following the backlash, Asake reportedly reached out to his father, promising to cover his medical expenses and purchase a house for him. A photo of the singer with his father, which surfaced online on Friday, indicated a renewed relationship.

The development follows Asake’s recent reunion with his daughter and baby mama, signaling a broader effort to mend family ties.
