British-Nigerian heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has tattooed the names of two close associates who died in a road accident in Ogun State.

Joshua honoured Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele months after they were killed in a crash along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on December 29, 2025.

The tribute was revealed by London-based Fulham Tattoo, which shared images of the artwork on Instagram on February 13, 2026. The studio said the former two-time world heavyweight champion visited unannounced for his first session.

In a post, Fulham Tattoo thanked Joshua for “unexpectedly and unannounced walking through the door” for his appointment.

Ghami served as Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach, while Ayodele was one of his trainers.

The two men died after the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a stationary truck. Joshua, who was also in the car at the time, survived the crash. He was treated in hospital and later discharged before returning to the United Kingdom.

The tattoos mark a personal tribute from the boxer as he continues to mourn members of his training team.
