Nigerian music veteran Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has publicly reflected on mistakes he says he made in both his career and personal life.

Speaking in a preview of an upcoming episode of the Mic On podcast, the singer said he wishes he could go back in time to correct several past decisions.

“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better,” Idibia said, noting that difficult moments and emotional pressure sometimes influenced his choices. He added that his resilience has changed over time, describing himself as less emotionally guarded than before.

The artist also addressed reports surrounding an alleged altercation involving his wife, Natasha Osawaru, which led to his arrest in London in October 2025. Idibia acknowledged responsibility for the incident, describing it as an unfortunate moment driven by anger.

“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he said.

2Face, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential musicians, remains a prominent figure in the continent’s music industry, with a career spanning more than two decades.
