Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has urged Nigerians to shift attention away from his personal life and focus on pressing national issues.

The singer made the remarks on December 12, 2025, while performing at a live event where he entertained fans with several of his hit songs. Addressing the audience, 2Baba said public discussions about his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru had gone on for too long.

He stressed that the country faces more serious challenges that deserve greater public attention than speculation about his private affairs.

According to the veteran musician, after years of contributing to national entertainment through his music, it was important for citizens to concentrate on matters that directly affect Nigeria’s development.

“Make una ignore all that nonsense. Some serious things are happening in Nigeria. I’ve entertained you all enough. Let’s focus on more important things,” he said.
