Geno-Cost (or Genecost) is a term to describe the genocide against the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It combines "geno" (from genocide) and "cost" (economic cost/gain), meaning genocide committed for economic reasons, the systematic killing and destruction driven by the exploitation of Congo's rich natural resources.
