Idris Salia, son of the late Ghanaian businessman Alhaji Salia Abdulai, recently revealed how certain individuals, including some of his siblings, allegedly forged a will to claim his father's properties.

In an interview with Kofi TV, Idris, the 11th of his father's 17 sons, shared his suspicions about the will's legitimacy, explaining that his father, a devout Muslim, followed Islamic principles that discourage leaving wills for children, wives, or blood relatives.

“If my father wanted to do a will, he would have consulted with a respected Muslim to handle it for him to avoid confusion among his sons,” Idris stated.

Despite his efforts to obtain a copy of the will and verify its authenticity, Idris said his siblings refused to provide one. “They informed us about the will, so when we got to court, I requested a copy… I wanted to have a feel of the paperwork because I previously worked as an auditor so I can detect if it's authentic or not. For one year, they never gave us the copy. My eldest brother… raised an alarm that the will was fake,” he explained.
