In a statement on Thursday, the Police clarified that the seal broke during the packing and unpacking process. They assured the public that investigations, conducted alongside the Electoral Commission (EC) and political party representatives, confirmed the bag's contents were untouched.

Accra Minister Warns Against Structures Around Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has reiterated his warning to keep the newly opened Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange free from unauthorized structures.

Speaking at the launch of Phase II of the interchange, the minister stressed, “We don’t want any kiosks, we don’t want any mechanics around the shoulders of this interchange."

He shared an example of vendors who defied a similar warning at the Flower Pot Interchange, setting up stalls immediately after its inauguration.

Titus Glover urged residents to respect the city's new infrastructure, preserve its beauty, and support the government’s efforts to improve Accra's landscape.
