The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has pledged to deliver improved services to the people of Ondo following his recent victory in the governorship election. Describing his win as an opportunity to achieve more, he assured residents of "better days" ahead.

Speaking after being declared the winner, Aiyedatiwa highlighted his extensive campaign across the state, stating, "Having visited every part of the state during campaigns, he is more in tune with the needs of the people." He emphasized that his efforts included visiting all local government areas, not just their capitals, and engaging directly with communities to understand their challenges and aspirations.

“In almost all the communities we visited, we saw the roads and the way they looked, the environment they were living in; we heard their voices, we read their messages, and we listened and responded to questions and their yearnings and aspirations," he said.

Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence in his administration’s ability to meet the expectations of the people, noting their trust in his promises. “They believe that whatever we say is what we will do. We will not tell them what we cannot do. We will do all that we have promised within the limited resources available to us," he assured.
