Clashes between FARDC and M23 reported in Kaziba this Monday

The fearless soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) are fighting heroically against the M23 terrorists who have now attacked Kaziba, a peaceful chiefdom in Walungu territory, South Kivu province.

Reports confirm that the M23 rebels, known for their destruction and violence, have spread into many villages before reaching Kaziba.

"The M23 rebels invaded from Nyangezi, sneaking through the Nyanfunzu escarpments to attack Mushenyi," said a local source.

The people of Kaziba are deeply concerned as the enemy rebels have entered their town, causing terror and chaos.

"We can hear loud gunfire! The M23 criminals are fighting our soldiers in Cibanda," another resident reported.

But the mighty FARDC is not alone! The Wazalendo patriotic fighters, under the UPC group led by General Ruma Hondwa, have joined forces with the national army to crush the M23 rebels.

"UPC has opened another front against these invaders! We will not let them take Kaziba!" declared Pacifique Kararuka, a local civil society leader.

The M23 terrorists had been in Nyangezi for several days, but now they are facing the full force of the Congolese defenders. The people of Congo stand with the FARDC as they fight to protect their land from these ruthless aggressors. Victory will belong to the Congolese people!
